Sappi is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Journeyman to join their Somerset Mill in Skowhegan, Maine. This hands-on role involves working with electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure the plant operates safely and efficiently while providing opportunities for learning and growth.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems
Support DCS and PLC control systems to keep the plant running
Maintain AC and DC drives, power distribution systems, and other electrical systems
Take part in safety practices, continuous improvement efforts, and sharing knowledge with the team

Required

Hands-on knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems
Problem-solving skills

Preferred

BSEET degree or two-year technical college degree
2+ years of E&I Journeyman experience
Experience with Honeywell TDC 3000, Allen-Bradley PLCs, or similar systems
Experience in pulp & paper or an industrial setting
