Responsibilities
Supporting façade and building envelope restoration projects across New York City
Assisting with field investigations, documentation, and conditions assessments
Helping track and manage FISP (Local Law 11) inspections, filings, and timelines
Collaborating with architects and engineers to develop repair scopes and reports
Monitoring progress, costs, and contractor coordination
Communicating clearly with clients, contractors, and city agencies
Balancing time between site work and office coordination
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or construction, preferably with a focus on façades or exterior building systems
A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management—or equivalent hands-on experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable with site work, inspections, and direct client interaction
Tech savvy—comfortable with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
Valid driver's license (and insurance if using your vehicle for site visits)
Preferred
Familiarity with NYC building codes and FISP (Local Law 11) processes
OSHA and scaffold certifications
