Responsibilities

Drive the evolution of the technical goal, strategy, and operational excellence for Search Intelligence, in partnership with the Vice President (VP) of Engineering. Support the VP of Engineering and the extended leadership team to ensure that the 2,000+ person organization is operating smoothly, resourced effectively, and aligned with the overall Search strategy

Define and lead initiatives that address longer-term needs for Search Intelligence, such as location strategy, workforce planning, and organizational transformation

Set operational rhythms and drive key processes, including engineering leadership forums and offsites

Act as a proxy for the VP of Engineering when needed, using judgment and discretion to unblock decisions with velocity and represent the organization in cross-functional and technical forums

Own critical, undefined problem spaces. Take ambiguous challenges and drive them from concept to execution

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

15 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company

Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects

Experience executing operational efficiency

Experience business strategy and decision making

Experience transforming organizations

Preferred

Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience

Experience with R, SQL, spreadsheets, or similar analytics tools

Experience working with product and engineering teams

Experience acting as a Chief of Staff or on a Chief of Staff team

Experience leading organizational transformation or large-scale change management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
