GTM Sales Operations & Lead Generation Specialist
Penbrothers is an HR & remote talent management partner, and they are seeking a Go-To-Market Sales Operations & Lead Generation Specialist for a fast-growing technology startup in the United States. The role involves building and operating the top-of-funnel motion, combining lead generation, outbound prospecting, and GTM operations to help establish the startup's early GTM processes.

Responsibilities
Build high-quality target accounts and stakeholder list meats across manufacturing, automation, robotics, and industrial sectors
Execute outbound outreach sequences (email, LinkedIn, other channels)
Track, manage, and nurture leads to ensure timely follow-ups and movement through the funnel
Draft clear, compelling outreach messages, follow-up emails, and recap notes
Conduct non-traditional research methods (e.g., mapping manufacturing locations via satellite views, cross-referencing niche industry databases)
Identify decision-makers across engineering, operations, factory automation, and vendor management
Perform early qualification to ensure the CEO is speaking with high-value prospects
Build and maintain the early GTM operational backbone: workflows, templates, trackers, and reporting dashboards
Keep the CRM clean, updated, and structured (HubSpot/Salesforce or similar)
Document prospect interactions, next steps, and customer insights
Coordinate and schedule demos, intro calls, and partner discussions across time zones
Prepare the CEO with agendas, background notes, call summaries, and follow-up materials
Run experiments to test outreach strategies and iterate quickly based on real feedback
Partner with technical leadership to prepare demo materials or gather relevant product information
Ensure every prospect's touchpoint feels timely, professional, and well-run
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in roles such as Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Lead Generation, SDR/BDR, Executive Assistant (with Go-To-Market support) - preferably in a B2B environment
Strong experience in prospecting, outbound outreach, and target-list creation
Excellent research skills; able to creatively find stakeholders and verify information using unconventional sources
Strong written communication and ability to draft concise, professional outbound messages
Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and workflow/scheduling tools
Exceptional organization and ability to manage multiple parallel threads without losing detail
A builder's mindset—comfortable creating workflows, templates, or processes from scratch
High reliability, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive information
Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities
Preferred
Experience supporting technical founders or working with engineering-heavy teams
Prior exposure to sales engagement platforms, lead enrichment tools, or Sales Navigator
Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial automation, robotics, or hardware sectors (not required)
Ability to work with light reporting (cleaning CSVs, building simple funnels, maintaining dashboards)
Interest in AI tools to speed up research, writing, and coordination
