Responsibilities
Lead the strategy and vision for the best-in-class AV rider experience
Lead a team of PMs who will work with you to drive towards this vision
Educate riders about AVs and build a safe and transparent experience
Generate demand and grow rider affinity for AVs
Design a seamless ride experience, including frictionless pick-up and drop-offs, vehicles controls before, during and after trip and on-trip experience both in-app and in-vehicle
Ensure a high quality rider experience when things don't go as planned
Collaborate with AV tech partners to improve and co-design the rider experience including both software and hardware
Qualification
Required
8+ years of product experience delivering successful and innovative products
4+ years of experience managing PMs and building product organizations
Excellent track record of building best-in-class consumer products
Customer obsession and exceptional user and product instincts
Ability to take on complex product challenges and find elegant, simplifying solutions
Proficiency with data: You can find the data you need and turn it into an insightful story, demonstrating its value in decision-making
A high bar across the board, from your own contributions to the people you work with, to the products you build
A true passion for Uber's mission, our products, and the company's hybrid technology/operations nature
A strong desire to grow and learn
Preferred
Experience building products from 0-1
Experience owning and leading strategy for lines of business
Experience with AVs
Experience with software and hardware
Experience at a high-growth company
Entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrated through identifying and executing on opportunities in ambiguous problem spaces
