Process invoices, payments, and receipts
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Prepare and post journal entries
Manage payroll and employee expense reports
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain documentation for audits and compliance
Support financial reporting and analysis
Communicate with internal teams regarding accounting matters
Ensure adherence to healthcare industry standards and regulations
Recommend process improvements for efficiency
Qualification
Required
3+ years in accounting or controller roles
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently in a stand-alone role
Knowledge of healthcare industry accounting practices
Effective communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
Preferred
Experience in healthcare or manufacturing is preferred
5 - 10+ years of general accounting experience
