Responsibilities

Work closely with financial service leadership, lead partners, and advisory market leaders to contribute to a comprehensive strategy that aligns with KPMG Advisory's overall business goals and objectives
Deliver appropriate annual sales forecasting and participate in the setting of sales targets for team members
Manage performance of team members including pipeline management, deal qualification, forecasting and progress toward sales goals
Oversee proactively demand generation efforts to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified deals originated by the sales team; hold team members accountable for execution of strategies or plans for market pods and/or accounts
Identify and address the status of client pursuits in the sales cycle; identify barriers encountered and assist team members in resolving issues/barriers
Evaluate sales data and market conditions to develop and deploy areas for enhancement and growth
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Required

Minimum fifteen years of recent experience demonstrated business development, sales, and client management in a professional services environment, with background managing corporate accounts with direct sales responsibility within the financial services industry is required; minimum five years of recent experience demonstrated success in managing and coaching teams to deliver on sales targets
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
Ability to have conversations with leaders/C-suite executives across all functional areas of their business
Proven success in originating, shaping & closing large complex professional services deals
In-depth knowledge of assigned industry including competitive landscape, market trends, and more
Demonstrated success in collaborating across the client's business and effectively balancing the needs of varying stakeholders
Ability to travel regularly

Preferred

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or fifteen years of relevant work experience in enterprise level sales within financial services is preferred
