Responsibilities

Manage, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers. Cultivate a high-performing and collaborative team culture where engineers can do their best work

Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for key initiatives within the local flagships goal. Make key architectural and design decisions

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring high-quality engineering output, on-time launches, and measurable impact. Navigate ambiguity and make effective trade-offs

Partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Researchers, and other engineering teams across Google to create cohesive user experiences

Uphold and promote best practices in software development, including system design, code quality, testing, and reliability. Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience

Experience working with search quality and search infrastructure
