Responsibilities

Conduct a systematic comparison of SysML v1 and SysML v2, focusing on their capability to describe robotic production systems
Derive transferable concepts from existing SysML v1 models and define how they can be represented in SysML v2
Develop a conceptual modeling approach that allows domain experts (e.g., robotics engineers) to describe production systems in SysML v2 without deep MBSE expertise
Integrate domain-specific extensions for robotics (e.g., robot capabilities, workspaces, control behavior) into the SysML v2 metamodel or profile
Validate the proposed approach through expert interviews and application studies using example scenarios or reference systems
Provide a set of modeling guidelines and best practices to support future usage of SysML v2 in early-phase engineering of robotic systems
