Technical Operations Manager, Third Party Data Centers
Google is a leading technology company, and they are seeking a Technical Operations Manager for their Data Center team. This role involves overseeing the operations of electrical, cooling, and IT infrastructure while ensuring compliance and efficiency in data center operations.

Responsibilities
Drive efforts to test, validate, improve, and certify new processes and procedures for critical complex equipment operation for data center domain
Lead efforts to perform compliance activities for a data center and analyze compliance results for data centers globally. Ensure regional and global teams are complying with project/schedule guidelines and Google design standards
Drive efforts to monitor data center systems operations, control site activities to minimize risk, and to ensure effective response to any excursions
Drive efforts to ensure sites are following facility, maintenance, and standard programs globally while exhibiting strength in improvement to said policies and programs
Lead the development of strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and reduce environmental impact at a site, along with managing site-level development of programs and initiatives
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
9 years of years of experience in Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, or controls experience in an industrial/commercial environment
3 years of experience in a data center or facilities environment
Preferred
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or Reliability Engineering, or a related field
Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance and in Engineering
Experience communicating effectively with all levels of the organization, including executives
Ability to forecast resource requirements in a data-driven way
