Responsibilities
Understand the overarching business vision for Commercial Insurance in the Small and Lower Middle Market segments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elicit, define, and document business requirements for systems and processes
Lead and manage project teams to execute product requirements and solution sessions
Act as the primary liaison between business functions, IT teams, and consulting partners to ensure alignment on requirements and solutions
Develop and communicate detailed Product Specification business requirements documentation
Define and document Epics, Features, and User Stories that represent system functionality, along with associated benefits and value for users
Collaborate within an Agile Development environment to define solutions that support business processes
Review work requests and assess the impact of product and system changes on existing workflows
Anticipate, negotiate, and resolve business design issues to ensure project success
Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process to ensure solutions meet business needs and expectations
Qualification
Required
Deep expertise in P&C insurance business processes, workflows, and systems
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Underwriting, Operations, Product Development, and IT
Ability to define and implement innovative technology solutions
Experience providing analytical support for the implementation of new products and product extensions within policy systems
Ability to coordinate efforts across business teams including Product Development, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Actuarial
Experience leading and managing project teams to execute product requirements and solution sessions
Ability to act as the primary liaison between business functions, IT teams, and consulting partners
Experience developing and communicating detailed Product Specification business requirements documentation
Ability to define and document Epics, Features, and User Stories that represent system functionality
