Responsibilities
Define the Retail Pureplay Vertical's Data, Measurement and Analytics strategy, selling clients on Google's measurement solutions to achieve their growth objectives
Sell clients on the value proposition of data strength and Google's technical infrastructure
Prove and enhance media value by delivering strategic business insights, analytics, experimentation, and advanced measurement to optimize client business outcomes
Build and sustain an effective, high-performing and collaborative team. Support team in delivering full funnel measurement strategies and learning agendas, including identifying new business opportunities to drive customer outcomes. Coach and inspire the team to focus on the highest value opportunities, scale successes, and define clear swim lanes
Lead and manage internal and external relationships, collaborating with Industry Directors and cross-functional teams (Go-to-Market, gPS) to meet business and measurement goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
15 years of experience in marketing analytics, strategy consulting, financial modeling, or statistical analysis
7 years of experience in a sales leadership and people management role, including coaching, mentoring, and team development
Preferred
Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., experimentation frameworks, attribution models, measuring incrementally, statistical approaches, SQL, R, Python, etc.)
Experience using or deploying digital analytics, measurement, and ad technical solutions
Experience in media management or advertising effectiveness research
Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management internally and externally
