Responsibilities
Propose and implement cash rebalancing solutions across our agent network to optimize liquidity and enhance operational efficiency
Build and nurture strong partnerships with our banking institutions
Manage daily banking operations efficiently and accurately
Identify key liquidity challenges and develop innovative strategies to address Wave's cash flow needs
Oversee FX operations with a deep understanding of Niger's forex market
Forecast cash requirements to maintain optimal balances in our bank accounts
Monitor bank balances, fees, and transactional activity closely
Manage Efloat creation, destruction, and buffer levels to ensure seamless operations
Coordinate the timely collection and deposit of cash by agents into the appropriate bank accounts
Qualification
Required
Fluent in English and French
7+ years of experience in operations related to cash flow
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a comparable field
Preferred
Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Bring a proven history of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Can juggle multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Possesses strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and convince stakeholders at all levels
Thrive under pressure and stay calm in high-stress situations
