Responsibilities

Own platform governance, reliability, standards, and guardrails
Manage identity, access, roles, and tenancy models
Operate onboarding/offboarding and self-service capabilities
Coordinate platform upgrades, feature rollout, and lifecycle changes
Integrate with ITSM workflows (change, incident, problem)
Partner with vendor engineers and internal teams on complex issues
Drive adoption, hygiene, and cost optimization across business units
Provide L3 expertise and advanced troubleshooting for platform services
Document SOPs, standards, and best practices for scale and support
Monitor platform health, usage patterns, and consumption trends
Automate repeatable provisioning and integrations (APIs, Terraform, scripts) as needed

Required

Experience administering or operating observability platforms (Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, BigPanda, etc.)
Strong understanding of monitoring, alerting, metrics, logs, and event routing
Familiarity with Azure or other cloud environments
Working knowledge of ITSM/ITIL and operational workflows
Experience integrating tools and platforms via APIs or automation
Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder skills

Preferred

Experience with Terraform or Python for automation
ServiceNow development experience (Service Catalog, Flow Designer/Workflows, custom applications, and third-party integrations)
