SUPERVISORY TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (COMPUTER SCIENCE)
USAJOBS is seeking a Supervisory Training Instructor in Computer Science at Keesler AFB. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Technical Training Instructor and first-level supervisor, providing planning and direction to, organizing work for, and exercising control over assigned nonsupervisory subordinate employees.

Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the ITF Computer Science instructors, ensuring that courses comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities
Develops and/or revises lesson plans and training materials
Instructs students through assigned blocks of instruction at basic and/or advanced technical/ administrative levels
Represents ITF Computer Science section with a variety of installation and functional area organizations and works on special projects as directed

Minimum degree requirement of an Associates Degree from CCAF or a regionally or nationally accredited post-secondary institution in the discipline or in combination with appropriate work experience in ITF Computer Science and the methods and techniques of instruction
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systems
Knowledge of a wide range of principles and practical methods, techniques, and tools of instruction to teach a variety of students with a range of differences such as diverse ages, backgrounds, and levels of interest
Knowledge of ITF Computer Science at a practical level to include the design, development, coding, maintenance, testing, configuration management, and documentation of network systems, client systems, and web-enabled software
Knowledge of Air Force Technical training administration, policies and procedures to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization
Knowledge of safely, security, personnel management, and EEO regulation, practices and procedures
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships

Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program
