Responsibilities

Evaluating, underwriting, and analyzing commercial loan applications and participation loan purchases to ensure sound credit decisions that align with the Credit Union's risk appetite and regulatory requirements

Assessing financial statements, tax returns, and collateral

Preparing credit memos and recommending approval or denial of loan requests

Supporting business lending growth while maintaining portfolio quality and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Coordinating and analyzing annual loan reviews for the existing commercial portfolio

Working with the Credit Union's third-party business loan servicer

Supporting business lending growth while maintaining portfolio quality and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Coordinating and analyzing annual loan reviews for the existing commercial portfolio

Working with the Credit Union's third-party business loan servicer

Knowledge of commercial lending regulations and compliance requirements

A minimum of four years prior lending experience

Preferred

Knowledge and/or exposure in the areas of business lending, loan participation, consumer, real estate, vehicle and personal lending at a bank, credit union or other comparable financial institution
