This role involves reviewing design drawings and engineering documents to ensure compliance and readiness for new ship construction.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive review of integrated C5ISR systems design drawings to support readiness for Critical Design Review for a new ship construction

Review for contractual compliance and redline engineering documents such as block diagrams, electrical wiring diagrams, interface design documents, installation control documents, and function interface diagrams

Assess C5ISR hardware configurations (eg, cabinets/trays/fixtures/sway braces/cables/connectors) and perform engineering analysis for contractual and MIL-D-23140 D (Installation Control Drawings) compliance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and Nine (9) years or more relevant experience with one or more shipboard C5ISR systems listed below

Masters and Seven (7) years or more related experience. BS degree maybe offset with additional (4) years relevant experience

Active Secret clearance

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements

Experience with Autocad or similar

Relevant C3ISR, C4ISR, C5ISR, and/or C6ISR Shipboard Systems

Integrated Bridge System

Gyrocompass (e.g., WSN-7)

Surface Search Radars (e.g., AN/SPY-6, SPS-series)

UHF, HF, VHF Marine Radios

Shipboard Communication Cabinets

Shipboard Alarms and Interior Communications (Safety, Warning Systems)

Fathometer and Depth Sounding Systems
