Lead the design, development, and optimization of lithium-ion battery cells, focusing on performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness
Make critical decisions in complex and ambiguous situations to guide product development and strategy
Oversee cell fabrication, testing, and performance validation, ensuring scalability and manufacturability
Conduct in-depth analysis of materials, chemistries, and failure mechanisms to improve cell performance
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams to meet project milestones
Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, fostering technical growth and innovation
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage
Qualification
Required
Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in lithium-ion battery development
Extensive knowledge of cell design, electrochemical principles, and materials characterization techniques
Proven ability to lead projects and make decisions in evolving environments
Hands-on experience with battery fabrication, testing, and manufacturing processes
Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
