Responsibilities
Handle a large book of Personal Lines and Commercial accounts requiring a comprehensive understanding of the industry and broad knowledge in Property, Casualty, Auto, E&O, D&O, Management Liability, Builder’s Risk + more…
Quote, propose and write both Personal and Commercial Lines insurance products and services
Counsel and advise clients on exposures/risks and offer insurance solutions to meet their needs. Regularly engage with clients to develop, nurture, and retain long-term relationships
Pursue continuous education within our industry to build your skills
Participate in our proactive account renewal process
Ensure that all account files are properly documented within our management system
Consistently assess new business opportunities and cross sell as needed
Achieve and exceed sales, retention and growth goals and objectives
Collaborate and engage with all of our team members
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of insurance industry experience related to servicing personal lines (and preferably small to medium commercial) accounts
A current Mass. Property and Casualty Insurance license or the ability to successfully obtain
A high energy and outgoing personality with excellent communication and technology skills
Knowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
College Degree or Military experience desired
CIC, CPCU, or other insurance designations are desirable but not required
Experience using Applied EPIC is desired
Established relationships with seasoned Commercial Lines E&S brokers desired
