Responsibilities

Leading, managing, guiding, and coordinating the Secret Service's audit functions, serving as the liaison with internal and external stakeholders, and providing audit guidance to the agency's senior leadership
Coordinating and communicating the status of audit findings and recommendations among senior leadership, including the Office of Chief Council, the Deputy Director, Chief Operating Officer and the Office of the Director
Performing comprehensive analysis of programs with respect to effectiveness, economy, efficiency, program results, regulatory compliance, and future capabilities
Planning, conducting, and providing technical direction for projects or major phases of significant projects; managing and directing the work efforts of technical staff and consistently evaluating individual and team performance to provide immediate & timely feedback to affect successful, positive outcomes

Required

U.S. Citizenship is required
Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service
Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Tier 5 clearance
Submit a credit check after a conditional offer of employment has been accepted
Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position
Submit a Financial disclosure report
Subject to a one-year probationary period for supervisors/managers
You qualify for the GS-14 level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level performing duties such as managing the lifecycle of agency audit actions, developing reports, collaborating with subject matter experts, analyzing audit program protocols, and providing technical direction to a team of employees
Time-in-Grade Requirements: Must meet 'time-in-grade' requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying)
The qualification requirements listed above must be met by the closing date of this announcement
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs and other organizations
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees
You must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted
