Environmental Business Development Lead
Metric Geo is seeking a Business Development Executive to expand its environmental consulting practice supporting real estate owners and developers in the NYC Tri-State region. The role involves selling environmental consulting services and driving market growth while establishing long-term client partnerships.
Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new business with real estate owners, developers, construction managers, and related industry stakeholders
Prepare and negotiate proposals that communicate scope, value, and environmental service strategies
Monitor market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive activity to guide sales planning
Introduce clients to complementary service lines and create opportunities for cross-selling
Maintain accurate pipeline and sales reporting in CRM systems and collaborate with internal teams on priority pursuits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, engineering, architecture, construction, real estate, or a related field
8+ years of business development or sales experience
5+ years in environmental consulting, real estate, or construction
