Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance Spark-based streaming applications
Support BAU tasks, including privacy compliance updates and Spark version upgrades
Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor data exports for internal teams and external partners
Troubleshoot and optimize Spark streaming jobs for performance and reliability
Qualification
Required
Hands-on Scala experience (functional programming mindset)
Practical knowledge of AWS services (S3, Athena, EC2, IAM, EMR)
Strong understanding of Apache Kafka (consumer groups, offset commits)
Familiarity with Spark Structured Streaming in Scala
Experience with Git and development on Mac
Preferred
Terraform, Kubernetes, containerization
SQL for data exploration
Experience with large-scale datasets
