ImageFIRST is the largest national linen rental and laundry service specializing in the healthcare market. The IT Systems Engineer will support the IT team in maintaining a reliable infrastructure platform and will act as the face of IT during local site visits.

Responsibilities

Support network infrastructure at our 50+ locations

Support M&A, site expansions, and new locations as required

Document environments in support of network infrastructure (e.g. - rack elevations, site diagrams, wire mappings)

Provide third-level support for the internal help desk. This involves resolving complex technical issues that cannot be resolved at lower support tiers and may require in-depth knowledge of server hardware, network equipment, and infrastructure

Expected to travel approx. 20 to 30%

Required

5-7 years of progressive experience in server hardware, network equipment, and infrastructure support

Technical knowledge and experience with servers, operating systems, firewall, routers, switches, and access points

Experience with physically installing servers, network equipment, patch panels, and performing network cabling including terminations of network cables

Able to work on a scissor lift (training provided) and being comfortable with heights

Able to lift, up to 50lbs

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Must be proficient in one of the following areas: virtualization (Hyper-V or VMWare), cloud computing (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), operating systems management and support (Windows or Linux)
