Responsibilities
Deliver Strategic Financial Insights: Advise marketing management on performance metrics, segment pricing, business plans, and special projects to support strategic decision-making
Lead Financial Modeling: Develop and analyze financial models for major business proposals across diverse market segments
Optimize Pricing Structures: Collaborate with pricing teams to evaluate customer price structures and recommend improvements for profitability
Guide Economic Analysis: Provide expertise on internal P&L drivers and external market trends (including IRI analysis) to inform pricing strategies
Support Advanced Pricing Methodologies: Apply and interpret price modeling techniques (fixed/variable) and conversion margin methodologies (VARM – Value Above Raw Materials)
Manage High-Impact Projects: Execute assigned projects with precision, ensuring cross-functional accountability and timely delivery
Organize Financial Data for Negotiations: Prepare and present financial data to support contract negotiations and account planning
Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with R&D, Product Management, Operations, and Finance to compile and analyze data
Drive Profitability: Serve as a key contributor in providing financial and operational context to enable sustainable business growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering preferred
Minimum 2 years of analyst experience (manufacturing background preferred)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
A proactive, engaged mindset and commitment to growing as part of a high-performing Amcor team
Preferred
Experience with SAP and Power BI preferred
