Responsibilities

Air Defense capability gap, technology needs, and requirements assessments
Comparative analysis of candidate systems, components, and approaches for technical feasibility, compatibility, and cost effectiveness
Coordination with government and contractor team members to generate project documentation, including strategies, plans, and reports
Interface with numerous industry vendors on Air and Missile Defense technology development requirements, efforts and proposals
Project execution, planning, tracking, and reporting, including IMS and Risk management
Programmatic support including white papers, action items, executive summaries, and other quick response tasks
Informational and decision briefs for senior leaders
Integrated Product Team and stakeholder coordination support
Technology Transition Planning for Program of Record insertion

Qualification

Air Defense ExpertiseTechnical experience in Army FiresRDT&E experienceMicrosoft Office proficiencyLeadership abilityTeam coordinationDynamic environment adaptabilityOrganizational skillsCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field
OR substantial military technical experience
15+ years of relevant experience in RDT&E and/or DoD Program Office support
Technical experience in Army Fires, AMD, or related lab experience
Air Defense Expertise across one or more of a range of technical areas including missile component technologies, air defense command and control, radar technologies and M&S
Ability to interface with external stakeholders, including numerous PEO Missile and Space offices, officials from Army Senior Leader offices, Warfighter representatives at Fort Sill and various COCOMs, and AvMC team members to shape portfolio direction and achieve team consensus on initiatives
Ability to produce, present, and action technical and programmatic discussions and meetings for engineers, managers, ranking military, Subject Matter Experts, and Business Development audiences
Capable of coordinating and leading 3-20+ person virtual and in-person meetings
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and Teams
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills required
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Discernment of and ability to operate with awareness of organizational interests and respect to military, civilian and corporate chains of command
Demonstrated leadership ability and willingness to lead within a team environment
Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain an active security clearance (Top Secret desired)
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
