Machinist I
EXALTA Group is a manufacturing company specializing in precision machining. They are seeking a Machinist I to operate CNC machinery, perform quality checks, and maintain production standards while adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities
Operate assigned precision CNC machinery
Receives process traveler, verify revisions match, review completed previous operations on all paperwork
Receives material, loads pallets and robot, as necessary
Checks parts for conformances according to inspection plan and blueprint using measuring instruments confidently
Verify the correct program is running on the machine and revision matches traveler
Red tag units that are out of specification (OOS) and submit to the Quality Manager
Observe line clearance procedures
Ensure work area, machine, tooling, and parts are cleaned regularly and free from excess oil. Tooling returned to proper area
Maintain quality and acceptable production outputs
Perform daily and routine preventive maintenance on assigned machine based on established standards, and record it
Offset the machine to the blueprint for part conformance as needed
Replace tooling at the machine when required
Attend all assigned meetings
Follow all company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
One – Three years of machinist experience required
Exposure to ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 as it relates to the job
Time management, prioritization and organization skills
Knowledge of testing equipment, statistical methods and control plans
Organizational and problem-solving skills
High School or equivalent
General knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, ID / OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators and plug and tread Go/No Go gauges
Ability to read Blueprints
Required knowledge of basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra
Skilled in adapting to a changing work environment, competing demands and ability to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
Skilled in setting priorities that move projects through efficiently – achieving customer and quality objectives
Skilled in working independently, following through with assignments with minimal direction
Reasoning skills including comparing, classifying, analyzing and coordinating while minimizing duplication
Safety glasses are required on the manufacturing floor
Preferred
Experience within a medical device company
English communication skills
