Responsibilities

Oversee and/or perform annual audit and financial reporting activities for a book of hedge funds, including detail review of balance sheet, income statement, statement of changes, consolidated SOI, financial highlights, and review of footnotes (including disclosure of ASC 820, ASC 815, ASU 2011-4, and other required disclosures)
Possible support for audit-related projects
Provide feedback for process improvement efforts identified in completing assignment
Provide feedback on technical subject matters from past work experience

Required

Direct experience with Hedge Funds and Private Equity required
Financial Reporting, Financial Statement Preparation, and/or Auditing experience
Experience with Complex Funds (Hedge Funds, difficult mutual funds, master feeders, side pockets, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft core programs (Very strong Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong problem solving and analytical ability
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and with the team, a client service mindset, and solve problems
Works well in a fast-paced environment where priorities change frequently and meeting deadlines is crucial

Preferred

Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or business
5+ years of audit and/or financial reporting experience, preferably for hedge funds
