Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting the development of proposal scopes of work and cost estimates using internal cost estimating tools

Responsible for the management projects ensuring the successful completion of projects within established schedules and budgets

Planning and organizing projects

Communicating to client and project teams

Ensuring quality work performance, adherence to safety and compliance to schedule and budget

Manage day-to-day costs against budgets

Prepare and approve project invoices

Responsible for direct interface with clients to communicate on scope of work, schedule, and budget

Direct the project work of staff on all active projects

Cultivate strong relationships with APTIM team members and clients in order to successfully deliver projects within designated timeframes

Required

Bachelor's degree in a core science (such as geology, chemistry), engineering, environmental science, environmental policy, or related area preferred

10 years related experience

Minimum of 2 years of project management experience

Prior experience or training regarding environmental compliance and related federal and state environmental regulations desirable

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong computer skills required. Must have a demonstrated strength and proficiency in Microsoft applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint Online, etc. and the ability to learn other software applications

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Willing to work in the field and travel to complete work

Preferred

Experience managing staff and projects for the commercial client industry

Experience managing environmental compliance requirements for the commercial client industry
