They are seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to manage complex water management issues and mentor junior engineers in various water resource projects.

Responsibilities

Write, develop, organize, and review project studies, reports, and design documents for water resources projects

Provide field services and construction oversight for water resources projects such as dams, levees, streams, and lakes

Be a mentor and develop younger engineers to become effective water resource modelers, designers, planners, and project managers

Engage in public speaking regarding civil engineer water resources projects

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering, or related Engineering field

6+ years of experience in water resources engineering, preferably in the Midwest

NE Professional Engineer's License or the ability to obtain one within 6 months

Interest in leading others and pursuing continual growth as a leader

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel periodically

Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future
