Responsibilities
Responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation for new and existing legacy application software, and production support for systems with medium complexity
Primary DXC client point of contact in the COS area
Qualification
Required
6+ years of programming and related experience as outlined above
Mainframe application skills and experience are required
Skills and tools include (but not limited to): COBOL, IMS, DB2, MFS, DLT0, Debugger, Syncsort, TSO and other IBM Z/OS mainframe technologies and utilities
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Six or more years of support services or project or program experience
Experience working with the technology industry
Experience working with company products and operating systems
Experience working with computer systems and their use
Good organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good time management skills
Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with team members and customers
Good project management skills
Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
Good leadership and organizational skills
Good communication skills
Accounting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required Skillset: Cobol, TSO, JCL, IMS, DB2
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information systems or related field preferred
ADF knowledge and experience are pluses
Manufacturing experience (preferably in the steel industry) is highly recommended
