Lead Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer

The Boeing Company is seeking a Lead Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer to join their Precision Engagement Systems Team in St. Charles, MO. Responsibilities

Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements
Designs hardware, software and interface specifications
Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs
Experience as a Lead Technical Engineer
Requires 25% travel International and US
Requires Valid Passport for International Travel

Required

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency with electrical design tools and software
Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components
Ability to perform complex electrical analyses and simulations
Experience with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Ability to obtain special access programs (SAP)
Requires 25% travel International and US
Requires Valid Passport for International Travel
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Preferred

14+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience with specific electrical design software such as MATLAB, SPICE, or similar tools
Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and practices
Ability to mentor and train junior engineers
