Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive legal research on issues pertinent to the insurance sector

Assist in the drafting and revision of legal documents, contributing to the team's efforts to support CSAA's legal framework

Keep abreast of legislative changes that could impact the company, preparing summaries and updates for the legal team

Participate in weekly staff counsel meetings to discuss ongoing cases and new legal developments

Required

A detailed cover letter expressing your interest in the internship and highlighting your relevant skills and experiences

A current resume outlining your academic and professional background

A legal writing sample that showcases your ability to analyze and articulate complex legal issues

Unofficial transcripts as proof of your academic achievements (undergrad is okay since you may not have any from law school yet)

Rising 2L law school students (students who have completed their 1L year and will be entering their 2L year in the fall)

Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Possesses excellent legal drafting abilities and a keen interest in litigation, corporate law, and/or insurance law

Available to work full-time throughout the duration of the summer program

Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the US
