SHORE RESPONSE PLAN AND EXERCISES PROGRAM MANAGER
USAJOBS is seeking a Shore Response Plan and Exercises Program Manager to serve in the CNRNW N36 Department of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST. This role involves planning, developing, and coordinating training exercises and strategies for ashore training at various levels within the Navy.

Responsibilities
You will plan, develop, coordinate and implement the Shore Response Plan (SRP) and the Shore Response Training Plan (SRTP)
You will develop requirements, plans, Training exercises and strategies for ashore Training at Fleet, Region, and Installation levels
You will provide support and input to the ROC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Crisis Action Planning (CAP) by supporting ROC watch stander and Crisis Action Team (CAT) Training
You will serve as a primary member of the Regional Training Team (RTT)
You will oversee ITTs and subordinate Training Teams to ensure requisite level of knowledge sufficient to effectively evaluate and control Integrated Training events
You will prepare/conduct briefs, develops point papers, and drafts correspondence in support of Ashore Training issues
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
Incumbent must possess a valid Driver's License
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Plan, develop, coordinate, and implement the Shore Response Plan and the Shore Response training Plan at the Region level; 2) Develop and promulgate Command Improvement Plans, Lessons Learned, and After Action Report databases for the Region; 3) Develop requirements, plans, exercises, and strategies for training at the installations; 4) Mastery knowledge in exercise planning, coordinating, assessing CNIC Exercise program; 5) Knowledge in risk management, administration, statistical analysis or financial management; 5) Master level skills and knowledge of emergency Operations Centers (EOC), Anti-terrorism (AT), and emergency Management (EM) and disaster response operations; and 6) Master level skills of analytical and management theories, principles, and practices
