Responsibilities

Teach part-time and remotely as part of the Elevate K-12 Teacher network

Adapt to taking classes that start throughout the semester

Commit to consistency in attendance as the teacher of record for students

Maintain professionalism in the classroom environment with students and staff

Be flexible and think critically to ensure optimal student outcomes

Meet deadlines set by Elevate and the school calendar

Maintain a reliable internet connection and professional environment for teaching

Qualification

Arizona Special Education CertificationTeaching Grades 6-8Tech-savvyAdaptabilityProfessionalismCritical ThinkingOrganizational Skills

Required

An active, verifiable teaching certification in Arizona for Special Education

MUST be willing to get certified in other states through reciprocity

Certified and experienced with teaching students in Grades 6-8

Must physically reside in the United States during the 2025-2026 school year due to student information security requirements with our partner schools

A daily available time block of at least five consecutive hours, Monday through Friday, 8am - 4pm EST

Ability to work a part-time schedule of 10-20 hours per week during normal school hours

A laptop or desktop computer with a reliable high-speed internet connection
