8+ years expHouston Engineering, Inc. is looking to add municipal engineering as a service in their Omaha, NE office. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will define the character of cities and neighborhoods through your work on urban projects, while also leading and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities
Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, or market demand
Prepare engineering documents, including design reports, cost estimates, project schedules, etc. in accordance with the latest governing codes
Effectively manage budgets, schedules, and timely completion of projects
Participate in pre-project presentations, interviews, client meetings, and preconstruction meetings
Lead and mentor other civil engineers assigned to projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering, or related Engineering field
Professional Engineer license in NE or ability to obtain within six months
Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience with project management and budgeting
Capability of supervising, mentoring, and evaluating staff
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team atmosphere
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and clients
Good driving record and valid driver's license
Preferred
8+ years experience preferred, with recent experience in NE
