Phoenix Technology Services USA Inc. is a progressive and innovative Directional Drilling Company. They are seeking an Inspector – Level II who will be responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies, applying established procedures, and maintaining calibration of instruments.

Responsibilities

Perform inspection procedures on material, parts and assemblies working from general drawings, sketches, and specifications

Apply established inspection procedures while using a wide range of tools and instruments

Maintain calibration of a variety of pressure gauges and other instruments required for numerous testing applications

Communicate in a clear, professional manner with engineers as well as customers

Assist other departments with various projects when time permits

Perform all duties so as to meet the responsibilities listed in the Employee and Corporate HSE Handbooks

Perform duties according to the Company’s quality system procedures and work instructions

Qualification

Non-destructive testingInspection toolsSAPCalibration of instrumentsReading drawingsCommunication skills

Required

High school diploma or GED

3-5 years of experience in a related field or facility

Ability to use common inspection tools and instruments: SAP, hardness tester

Ability to work from drawings, sketches and specifications without detailed inspection procedures

Location: Houston, TX 77066

Shift availability: Night Shift

Non-destructive testing: 3 years

Preferred

Level II in the NDE disciplines of liquid penetrate, magnetic particle and ultrasonic testing
