Strategic Analytics Fellow

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to produce descriptive and inferential analyses using data from a variety of sources and statistical software
Work with team members to collect and refine data from personnel across the University
Assist with creating deliverables such as slide decks, interactive files, or dashboards
Assist with ensuring thorough project documentation and metadata are maintained
Assist with OIRA events, training and outreach as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree
Experience working with quantitative or qualitative data either through coursework or on the job
Knowledge of at least one programming language or statistical software package (preferably R) and a strong interest in learning R
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively on a team
Excellent analytical skills and some knowledge of statistics, either through coursework or job-based experiences
Strong quantitative skills
Excellent writing abilities and able to communicate effectively with collaborators and clients within the University community
Ability to use utmost discretion while working with confidential and sensitive information
Ability to manage diverse and changing priorities and work effectively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred

Experience working in a higher education setting, or strong interest in learning more about higher education
