Associate Brand Manager
TUEREN, Inc. is seeking an Associate Brand Manager to assist in the development and execution of brand building strategies for medium brands. The role involves product innovation, managing brand plans, and collaborating with various internal teams to ensure alignment with marketing leadership.

Responsibilities
With direct supervision, develop and manage the execution of annual brand plans or complete specified responsibilities directed by supervisor to ensure sales and profit expectations meet the stated goals
With direct supervision, develop a 3 year business plan for responsible brand outlining sales, profit, investment and innovation plans
As needed, works closely with multiple internal functional areas (e.g. sales, consumer insights, research and development, cost accounting, transportation, purchasing) to communicate brand(s) direction, resource needs, etc. and acts as the final decision maker for the brand/product/segment, assuming alignment with Marketing leadership
Responsible for the product innovation and new product development based on a clear understanding of consumer and/or customer/operator insights and needs relative to the brand promise
As needed, works with direct supervisor to develop scope of work expectations for outside agencies
Period financial reporting and forecasting for responsible brands and businesses
Complete period reporting on brand and category health measures
Occasional travel (20%)
Qualification
Required
Experience in product development (ex. launching new items from concept to sell in)
Experience with Club (ex. Costco, Sam's Club) and / or C-Store (7-Eleven, QuikTrip, Casey's, etc..)
Background in shopper marketing applications & customer level go to market strategy
Experience working directly with customer buying teams / hands on experience

B.A. or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Marketing professional with at least 3 years of experience in marketing or related area who will assist in the development and execution of brand building strategies of 1-2 medium brands
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Knowledge of most commonly used business systems and software applications in addition to Windows Office and how these systems relate to business processes
