CNC Machinist

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring the highest quality standards while working collaboratively in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate CNC machines with expert precision, ensuring components meet technical specifications
Configure machines, load materials, and oversee machining processes while modifying programs for optimal performance
Inspect finished parts with micrometers and calipers
Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance
Maintain safety standards
Bring strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to make your own tools
Run Horizontal and/or VTL lathes
Mentor others and consistently meet tight tolerances

Required

Strong troubleshooting skills
Excellent attendance
Ability to identify non-conforming parts
Ability to make your own tools (example: chuck jaws or fixtures), specific to your jobs
Ability to form cooperative relations with your supervisor
Ability to consistently work to tight tolerances
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to meet productivity requirements
Ability to communicate and counsel other operators in the department
Ability to set up and run mills and horizontal and/or VTL lathes, programming is a plus!
