Responsibilities
Leading or managing or supervising jr Accountants
Have experience with Revenue Recognition ASC 606
Maintaining accounting for hospitals, clinics, surgery centers etc
Need to have lead experience, managing a team of jr accountants
Preparing and validating journal entries and managing month-end/quarter-end close activities
Reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting outputs prepared by accounting teams
Providing reliable controllership support and ensuring smooth execution of accounting operation
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of controllership or accounting experience in healthcare services (e.g., hospitals, surgery centers, physician practices), with strong knowledge of US GAAP and healthcare revenue/expense accounting
Experience with Revenue Recognition ASC 606
Experience maintaining accounting for hospitals, clinics, surgery centers, etc
Lead experience, managing a team of junior accountants
Skilled in preparing and validating journal entries and managing month-end/quarter-end close activities using the close calendar to sequence tasks
Experienced in reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting outputs prepared by accounting teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
Comfortable working with regional CFOs and finance teams, providing reliable controllership support and ensuring smooth execution of accounting operations
Preferred
Experience within a Healthcare Industry maintaining accounting for hospitals, clinics, surgery centers, etc
Preferably multi-location accounting and finance support
