Product Information Analyst
Mighty Auto Parts is a leading automotive parts distributing firm based in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The Product Information Analyst will collect, analyze, and monitor purchase data from suppliers to provide visibility into product programs and create reports that help predict costs and identify purchasing trends.
Responsibilities
Maintenance of internal pricing system (Buying Guide)
Manage price files from suppliers and import pricing into system
Add, discontinue and/or supersede part numbers
Increase/decrease pricing on part numbers for each supplier and apply any tier pricing when appropriate
Generate movement (POP) codes
Track and interpret data from various suppliers/vendors
Generate various reports from collected data using VLOOKUP, Pivot Table and Concatenate functions in Excel:
Dollar sales by franchise and unit volume by product
Order tracking and turnaround time reports through Mighty’s direct ship program
Vendor purchase reports
Formulate extrapolations and weighted average
Cross reference of supplier material numbers
Manage lubricants ordering system
Onboarding of franchises into the program
Submit list of customers and annual gallon demands
Register franchises into the system
Instruct franchises on how to utilize the website and submit orders
Liaison between franchise and supplier
Adding locations and obtaining necessary tax certificates
Invoicing issue resolution
Order tracking and obtaining PODs (Proof of Delivery)

Tradeshow organization and execution
Admin and billing for website subscriptions
Product admin backup
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to collect, analyze and monitor purchase data from suppliers
Ability to create various reports to predict and control costs and identify product purchase trends
