Responsibilities

Monitor parking lots/garages for vehicles in violation of parking ordinances by following an assigned route

Patrol assigned areas on foot and/or in a vehicle to enforce regulations in the City of Nashville pursuant to the Nashville Municipal Code and the Tennessee Vehicle Code

Issue handwritten and computer-generated parking fee notices and transfer such data to centralized system

Maintain a high public visibility and have constant interaction with the public

Regularly communicate general information regarding fee notices issuance, parking regulations, notice adjudication, and Nashville geographics

Adhere to all policies, procedures, and directives of LAZ Parking and the City of Nashville

Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

Work under general supervision and typically reports to a supervisor or manager

Maintain and care for all company issued equipment

Assist with any special assignments and projects as requested

Other related duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Must be at least 18 years of age

Possess a valid driver's license

Be able to read, write, and speak English

High school or GED required

Preferred

A minimum of 6 months of outdoor work experience
