Develop, lead, and optimize department workflows and processes

Create learning plans and ensure staff meet developmental objectives
Qualification
Required
10+ years of accounting or finance experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and core accounting workflows
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, risk management, and analysis of key financial metrics
Ability to oversee recurring close processes and act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
Proven experience managing client onboarding projects
Ability to develop, lead, and optimize department workflows and processes
Strong familiarity with RPA, AI-oriented, or tech-forward process improvements
Advanced Excel skills and comfort handling large datasets
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with IT, HR, and Operations
Prior experience managing, mentoring, or developing accounting staff, ideally including offshore or remote teams
Ability to participate in performance management processes (Balanced Scorecard, coaching, etc.)
Comfortable creating learning plans and ensuring staff meet developmental objectives
High energy, resourcefulness, and ability to operate independently
Exceptional organization, time management, and communication skills
Responsiveness to time-sensitive issues and a high sense of accountability
A client-service mindset and the ability to represent our values as a trusted advisor
Preferred
Exposure to professional services, outsourced accounting, or fractional CFO environments
