Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive digital services roadmap across the entire company
Manage and grow a team that supports multi-site digital solutions within a high growth 24/7 manufacturing facility
Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and New Product Introduction (NPI) leaders to define system requirements
Manage a team of engineering managers that are leading software engineers, platform engineers, and data scientists
Solve complex technical challenges, setting a high bar for engineering excellence and technical problem solving
Set a high bar for team velocity, code coverage, test plans, defect rates, cycle times and other software engineering KPIs
Qualification
Required
12+ years of relevant work experience and 5+ years of leading multi-skilled digital engineering teams
Proven experience leading engineering teams within a manufacturing environment
Proven experience defining a strategic roadmap of digital systems with a combination of build and buy for a manufacturing company
Skilled in developing project level service requirements to support successful delivery and stakeholder alignment
Proven experience breaking down comprehensive solutions into subsystems design and identifying off-the-shelf solutions that can be integrated
Deep technical knowledge and experience in secure edge and cloud architecture
A comprehensive understanding of APIs, microservices, and other complex systems, as well as knowledge of potential system vulnerabilities and how to prevent them
