$475K/yr - $525K/yrUL Standards & Engagement is seeking an accomplished and strategic financial leader to serve as their Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will play a critical role in stewarding resources, enhancing strategic capacity, and advancing key priorities for ULRI and ULSE as they embark on a new chapter marked by strong leadership and ambitious growth targets.

Responsibilities
Serve as UL's senior executive responsible for long-term financial health and risk management
Lead financial planning and analysis, accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, investment portfolio management, treasury, insurance, procurement, audit, and tax
Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEOs and respective Boards on major financial decisions
Guide strategic investment and ensure fiscal discipline by leading the annual budgeting process
Build out a sophisticated long-range financial planning practice, providing data-driven insights that support decision-making and guide growth
Guide major capital projects and develop strategies to steer long-term capital strategy and investment
Champion excellence across business processes and leverage technology to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and analytical capacity across the organizations
Build relationships, communicate with, and support a wide array of constituents, including the CEOs, Boards of Directors/Trustees, and senior leaders across ULRI and ULSE
Be a seasoned and capable team leader and manager
Be mission-driven and committed to the important work happening across the UL Enterprise
Qualification
Required
Accomplished and strategic financial leader
Collaborative, strategic, and diplomatic financial executive
Ability to translate mission objectives into financial strategy and actionable business plans
Experience in stewarding resources and enhancing strategic capacity
Experience in advancing key priorities
Long-term financial health and risk management expertise
Leadership in financial planning and analysis
Experience in accounting, financial and regulatory reporting
Investment portfolio management experience
Treasury management experience
Insurance, procurement, audit, and tax experience
Ability to serve as a strategic thought partner to CEOs and Boards
Guiding strategic investment and ensuring fiscal discipline
Leadership in the annual budgeting process
Experience in building long-range financial planning practices
Ability to provide data-driven insights that support decision-making and guide growth
