Responsibilities
Selects products to be loaded onto trucks for delivery to our Publix stores
Loading and unloading trailers
Operating a palletizer and tow motor
Records inventory paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
Maintains and cleans equipment in work area
Performs team assignments
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
must be at least 18 years old
willingness to obtain forklift license after training
willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours
ability to lift at least 50 pounds or more frequently
ability to pull 180-200 pounds across a slick surface
ability to bend, reach, pull, carry, and lift continuously
willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks and duties as assigned
ability to perform steady and productive work for an extended amount of time
must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
basic math skills
excellent communications skills; both verbal and written
ability to demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
ability to work well with others and be a team player
