1+ years expH&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Claims Administrative Assistant to work with the Risk Manager and Safety Team with claim coordination and serve as a primary contact for staff and employees in various safety-related issues. The role involves managing claims, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Performs all work according to OSHA, MSHA, PennDOT, and H&K Safety policies
Receive and review new incident reports
File Claims with Insurance Carrier
Generate and Track claim and insurance billing for auto claims
Research / analyze internal records to determine a plan of action for claims
Maintain Health & Safety Plans for contracting jobs
Create and manage Purchase Orders for the Safety Department as needed
Database Management
Compliance Assistance
Check requests
Maintain new hire orientation paperwork as it pertains to the Safety Dept
Track Costs and Incident Reports for one (or more) partner companies
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one year of related experience and/or training
Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) and mail merge experience
Strong attention to detail
Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills
Listening Skills
Analytical skills
Ability to multitask and organize
Ability to utilize appropriate PPE as needed
Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
Preferred
Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university
Two years of related experience and/or training
OSHA, MSHA or other relevant safety certifications
