Bookkeeper (Part Time)
Hope's Promise is a family-centered nonprofit providing foster care, adoption services, and global orphan care. They are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join their team part time, ensuring accurate financial management that supports their mission to serve families.
Individual & Family Services
Responsibilities
Maintain financial records
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Maintain general ledger
Prepare month end journal entries
Prepare monthly financial reports
Annual Audit preparation
Maintain Customer Relationship Management software (CRM)
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience in a related role
Experience with nonprofit accounting and fund accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
Experience with general ledger maintenance and journal entries
Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes including federal, state and unemployment tax filing requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and Word
Alignment with the mission and values of Hope's Promise
Preferred
Experience with Donor Perfect or similar CRM software
