Material Handler I (2nd Shift)
CesiumAstro is a company that develops communication systems for satellites and airborne platforms. They are seeking a Material Handler I to support manufacturing and shipping processes, ensuring efficient inventory management and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area
Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages
Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
Locate and packs materials for shipping
Document materials and records units delivered and location of units
Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product
Document product shipment by recording units shipped
Operate pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks
Keep inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean
Open containers, sort, and catalog materials
Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations
Observe and participate in process improvement activities and support a culture of continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., conditional resident, asylee or refugee, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Entry level position with no prior experience Material Handling experience required
High school diploma or GED
Adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient with prioritizing tasks and meeting multiple deadlines
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Process improvement mindset
Ability to lift heavy materials
Data entry skills and the ability to read and analyze information
