O'Connor Plumbing is seeking a versatile technical professional to join their team. This hybrid role involves providing IT support and web/application development, requiring strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on various technical tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line PC triage, troubleshooting, and system setup for new and existing users
Configure workstations, install software, and assist with basic networking tasks
Support users with technical issues in a clear, patient, and solution-oriented manner
Develop and maintain websites, internal tools, and small applications
Assist with client/server programming tasks and database-driven systems
Collaborate on technical projects, documentation, and process improvements
Help streamline workflows and identify opportunities for automation

Qualification

PC troubleshootingWeb developmentDatabase knowledgeWindows environmentsScripting experienceClear communicationSelf-starter mindset

Required

Strong troubleshooting instincts and confidence diagnosing PC issues
Experience with Windows environments, system setup, and common IT tools
Working knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET)
Familiarity with databases (SQL Server) and basic client/server concepts
Ability to switch between IT support tasks and development work as needed
Clear communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies
A self-starter mindset - you enjoy figuring things out

Preferred

Familiarity with vbScript, classic ASP, or VBA
Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python)
Understanding of networking fundamentals
Prior helpdesk or MSP experience
